Common questions
Why are no devices appearing?
Check the selected interface and address range. Ensure Local Network access is enabled for Network Console in system settings. Firewalls, VPN policies and wireless client isolation can prevent discovery. Devices may not advertise Bonjour services or respond to the ports being checked.
Why can’t I connect to a remote device?
The target must be reachable and have SSH, Telnet or a supported remote-desktop service enabled. Check its address, port, firewall and credentials. Network Console does not enable services on the remote device.
Where is my device library stored?
Your saved devices and folders are stored locally. Use Export to keep a copy and Import to merge a saved library. Exported libraries do not contain saved passwords.
Why does Wi-Fi information request location permission?
Apple restricts access to Wi-Fi network details. The optional permission is used to display the current Wi-Fi name and access-point address. The app does not collect location coordinates.
What are the system requirements?
iPadOS 17 or later. The iPad app can also run on compatible Apple silicon Macs, subject to App Store availability. Remote features require a compatible server on a reachable network.
